How can I know God’s Will?

womanthinksmall

This is a common question asked by many Christians, “How can I know God’s will?”.  It is hard to make wise decisions when we encounter difficulties.  We believe that God’s will is always best, and if we would follow His will we will experience God’s plan for our lives.  This lesson was created November 4, 2016 and was done at about 12 noon.  To view the lesson, please click here.

Salvation by Grace through Faith

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.  — Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

This lesson was created January 22, 2016.  What is the importance of this lesson? It is hard for a person to fully understand God’s way of salvation without understanding about His grace.  Many people would insist their own ways of salvation based on their good deeds and efforts to keep the law.  However, the Bible says:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23 KJV

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Isaiah 64:6 KJV

caracc2

If you happen to see a man in a car accident, and he couldn’t do anything to save himself, and he could not exert any effort to help himself to stand up and go to the hospital because he is almost dead; and you helped him and brought him to the hospital, that is a demonstration of grace.

The point is that we are all helpless sinners, unable to save ourselves.  However God demonstrated his mercy for us, and saved those who believe by grace.  Salvation is a gift of God, and no one works for a gift.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  — Romans 5:8 KJV

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Romans 11:6 KJV

Three New Lessons

Three new lessons were made today, January 29, 2016.  They are: “The Importance of a Clear Conscience”, “The Hindrance to a Clear Conscience”, and “Forgiving Others”.

clearconscience

A person who has clear conscience has inner freedom of spirit toward God and others knowing that he has not offended God in his thoughts or actions and if he has made an offense, he has asked forgiveness for it and manifested repentance through his words and deeds.

Having a clear conscience will make you sensitive to God’s guidance and direction in life so that you will be wise in all your decisions and receive blessings from the Lord.

BLAME

There is a saying, “The greater the guilt, the greater the blame”.  Justifying self and blaming others is a way to erase guilt resulting from sin.  The Bible says:

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”.  — Proverbs 28:13 KJV

forgive2

Have you the POWER to FORGIVE others?  How can you forgive those who did you wrong? Should you live in hatred, unforgiving spirit, and bitterness? Is it possible for you to forgive others and experience love, joy and peace?

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”

Colossians 3:13-15 KJV
