The Bible is the inspired word of God. The meaning of inspiration is “God-breathed,” signifying that God imparted His words into men, enabling them to write without error. This divine influence assures believers that the scriptures are not merely human writings but are authentically reflective of God’s will and truth, providing a reliable foundation for faith and guidance in life.

Fulfilled prophecies within the Bible serve as a powerful testimony to its divine inspiration, showcasing predictions that have come to pass with remarkable accuracy. For example, the prophecies concerning the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ were foretold centuries before His arrival, with specific details found in texts such as Isaiah and Micah. Additionally, the fall of empires and the restoration of Israel are chronicled in prophetic writings, illustrating a divine orchestration of historical events. These predictions, which span both the Old and New Testaments, not only confirm the consistency and reliability of Scripture but also strengthen the faith of believers by demonstrating that the Scriptures are rooted in divine foresight and authority.

Throughout the Bible, numerous prophecies have been fulfilled, notably the promise of a Savior found in Isaiah 9:6, which foretells the birth of Jesus Christ, and the prophecy of His crucifixion in Psalm 22, detailing aspects of His suffering and execution hundreds of years before they occurred, thereby illustrating the consistency of God’s promises and the prophetic nature of Scripture as seen in the life and ministry of Jesus.

No other books could change the lives of people like the Bible. Those who read it find a real purpose for living, leading to transformative changes in their lives. They are empowered to overcome bad habits and vices. Moreover, nations have achieved freedom through the profound influence of the Bible.

REASONS FOR KNOWING GOD THROUGH BIBLE STUDY

And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.  (Mark 10:44)

It is hard to find a great leader.  Some people want to look great in the eyes of people by taking pride of what they presently do.  They want to appear deserving for whatever position there is in leadership and do not accept corrections or criticisms. 

On the other hand, Jesus spoke about the principle of becoming a great leader that one must have an attitude of humility, faith, and servanthood.  

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. (Luke 17:5-10)

The servant mentioned in Luke 17, had done hard work already in the field when he arrived in the house.  Yet the Lord said, that after he had done all that were commanded to him, he still had to acknowledge that he is unprofitable servant, that is not worthy. There is a song based on the passage Mark 10:44 and it has a line, “If you want to be great in God’s kingdom, learn to be the servant of all”.  

If you want to be an effective leader, you must be humble to acknowledge your shortcomings, accept corrections and be willing to be helped to improve yourself, in that way, you will grow in leadership.
