To be a good leader, you must first be a good follower of Jesus. He said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4: 19). If you follow the Lord faithfully, you will actually develop good Christian leadership and your influence on people will increase. Christ promised those who follow Him that they will be made fishers of men. There may be some trials in following Jesus. You may face some rejection, loneliness, and difficulties of task, but if you are a true follower of Jesus, you will shine and your influence or leadership on others will increase. (Prov.11:30). Will you just stand there or start following Jesus by knowing Him through His words?
